*This is a review of the game alone. The new instruments won’t be reviewed*
Ladies and gentlemen….

Yes, ladies and gentlemen. They are here. The Beatles: Rock Band has finally arrived, and it’s time for me to review it! So step right up, and read on!
Now, before I start reviewing, let me get something straight: I consider The Beatles as the best band of all time, and the most influential band of all time. Needless to say, they are my favorite band and think they are brilliant. I have almost all of their albums, of which I put every single one on iTunes.
First off, let me tell you that the graphics for this game are incredible! The creators of Rock Band made sure not to make them look too realistic, or too cartoony. These two aspects are blended nicely, and the game looks fabulous. No complaints graphic-wise.
The gameplay stays tied and true to the normal Rock Band, which is not a bad thing. But what really makes this game shine is that you can have three singers at one time sing The Beatles’ amazing harmonies. This is a brilliant idea, and was perfect for this game.
What about the song selection? Even though there are only 45 songs (A few less than I expected), remember: these are 45 great songs. It has it’s high points and not so high points, but the songs are ALL still good, great, or amazing. With extra songs coming for download and songs already available, I’m fine with the songs.
“But will I play this game for a long time?” you might ask. Well, for everyone, it depends. If you’re a fan of The Beatles or even like them a bit, then “Yes. You will be glued to this game for years to come.” But if you hate The Beatles, then no. But there’s even a few extras to keep you stuck to it even longer: There are more than 100 photos you can collect that involve the band, and you can even watch small videos of The Beatles. This already makes this a must-buy for hardcore Beatles fans.
The 3rd gameplay trailer.
Now for the verdict. Here’s the deal with this game: If you don’t like The Beatles, you won’t like it. If you love The Beatles, slightly like them, or just want a different Rock Band game, then this game is a MUST-BUY. Trust me, it’s worth every penny, and you won’t be disappointed. It is an amazing game, and beautifully made. I give it a 9.5 out of 10.
And don’t forget that The Beatles are forever!!!
